Features: Thirteen-year-old orphan Maria and her governess arrive at Moon Hill Manor in Silver Mist Village to seek refuge with her uncle, Sir Benjamin. The villagers of Silver Mist are simple and live in picturesque beauty, yet it is also a mysterious and suspense-filled place—a puzzle of enigmas. The gardens are filled with unusual yew trees trimmed into the shapes of roosters and knights. Single and alone, Sir Benjamin and his dwarf chef claim that no woman has stepped inside the gates of Moon Hill Manor in twenty years. There is a huge, intimidating dog named (Ralph), which, despite having been gone for twenty years, suddenly returned to the manor. A clever and magical black cat named Z (Z) uses its paws to draw and send messages. A mysterious black pine forest, a small, mystical white horse that seems both real and illusory, and a long-standing legend about the Moon Princess and the white horse that has been passed down through centuries, all hidden behind these mysteries are the long-standing feuds between two families.
