Patient's question:
Patient Age: Diagnosed with multiple cervical cysts in March 2009, no symptoms, just a bit of increased vaginal discharge.History of Treatment and Effect: No treatment.
Any suggestions?
Doctor's answer:
1. Drug treatment -- small side effects, the drawback is that the effect is not good.2. Physical therapy -- suitable for patients with moderate cervical erosion and severe cervical erosion. Common methods include electrocautery, laser therapy, and cryotherapy.
3. Surgical treatment -- if the above treatments are ineffective, or if there is cervical hypertrophy, or if the erosion is deep and extensive and involves the cervical canal, cervical conization or total hysterectomy can be considered. However, surgical treatment is rarely used at present. But the most serious consequence of surgery is that it can cause infertility in women! It requires caution, unless it is a relatively severe cervical erosion with signs of cancer, then surgical treatment can be considered.
