Educational exchange is an important part of cultural exchange and a powerful driving force for promoting the development of education in various ethnic groups, countries, and regions. In a certain sense, one can say that the history of world education is a history of mutual exchange, collision, integration, and continuous innovation among the education of different ethnic groups. Since the 1980s, with the gradual deepening of the reform and opening-up policy and the rapid development of the socio-economy, educational exchange between China and other countries has been carried out at all levels. People have increasingly deeply felt the profound impact of this exchange on accelerating the modernization of China's education. In this context, how to recognize the significance and laws of educational exchange from a higher level and broader perspective, scientifically summarize the experience and lessons accumulated in historical and contemporary educational exchange, and strengthen the belief in carrying out educational exchange while enhancing our awareness, ultimately, is a major issue that concerns whether China's education can truly go global and whether it can achieve modernization within a relatively short period of time.
