Features: The China Metallurgical Encyclopedia is a large-scale professional reference book that compiles the metallurgical science and technology knowledge of China and the world, reflecting the contemporary level of metallurgical science and technology. The China Metallurgical Encyclopedia adheres to the principles of objectivity, accuracy, and comprehensiveness of encyclopedias, reflecting the world's metallurgical science and technology level while focusing on introducing the development status and scientific research achievements of China's metallurgical industry. The China Metallurgical Encyclopedia is organized by volume based on various disciplines in the metallurgical field, with entries as the basic unit to introduce knowledge and provide information. Each entry is an independent and complete knowledge topic. Each volume consists of numerous entries, whose knowledge is interconnected, forming a complete knowledge system and network of the discipline. At the end of important entries, reference bibliographies are also provided to recommend specialized books for readers to systematically study the knowledge topic. The China Metallurgical Encyclopedia contains approximately 20 million words, covering fields such as metallurgical geology, mining, mineral processing, fundamental theories of metallurgy, iron and steel metallurgy, non-ferrous metal metallurgy, metal plastic processing, metal materials, coking chemicals, refractory materials, carbon materials, metallurgical thermal energy engineering, metallurgical equipment, metallurgical automation, metallurgical safety and environmental protection, metallurgical physicochemical testing, and metallurgical plant construction. Each volume is labeled with the volume name without numbering. The main text of each volume is arranged in the order of the Chinese pinyin letters of the entry titles. To provide readers with multiple retrieval channels, each volume is equipped with a classified directory of entries, as well as a stroke index of Chinese characters, a foreign language index of entry titles, and a content index. The comprehensive volume also includes a timeline of major metallurgical events. This book is organized by volume based on the knowledge system of various metallurgical disciplines, with volumes published separately or combined. Each volume has a classified directory of all entries in the discipline of that volume, reflecting the hierarchical relationship between entries, to help readers understand the overall picture of the discipline and retrieve entries based on the knowledge system. This book uses entries as the basic knowledge unit. Each entry consists of an entry title and an explanatory text. The entry title includes the Chinese character title, its Chinese pinyin, and its foreign name. The explanatory text includes necessary charts and tables, and longer entries have hierarchical headings. Entries with many hierarchical headings have a directory of the entry's hierarchy before the explanatory text. Reference bibliographies are provided at the end of important explanatory texts for readers to select for further reading. The entries in each volume of this book are arranged in alphabetical order of the Chinese pinyin letters of the entry titles. First, entries are sorted by the pinyin letters of the first word, and if the first words are the same, the second word's letters determine the order, and so on. Entries with Latin letter titles are placed in the corresponding position within the Latin letter section.
