What are the test results for ectopic pregnancy?

Patient's question:

Around the 22nd, my period arrived, and then I had dark brown blood continuously, but in very small amounts, just a little. Below is the ultrasound report I had at the hospital: the uterus is retroverted, measuring 81mm×45mm×40mm, with a generally regular shape, slightly uneven muscle layer echoes, an endometrial thickness of 10mm, and CDFI showing no abnormal blood flow signals within the muscle layer. The left ovary is approximately 32mm×25mm. In the right adnexal area, there is a mass measuring 47mm×31mm, with unclear boundaries, primarily composed of anechoic areas with some ovarian echoes interspersed, and CDFI showing no blood flow signals within the cyst wall. The pelvis shows a 15mm anechoic area. The blood test report has not come out yet, and I am very anxious.
Previous treatment history and effectiveness: None.
What kind of help I need: I am very worried and don’t know if it could be an ectopic pregnancy.

Doctor's answer:

Hello: According to your description, your last menstrual period was on December 22nd. Today is January 8, 2012, so it cannot be an ectopic pregnancy.
Advice: Hello: Your ultrasound examination results show no significant abnormalities. You should currently be in your ovulation period, so it is unlikely that you are pregnant now. There is no need for a blood test at this time. If your period does not arrive on schedule by January 22nd and it has been less than a week, you can then undergo an early pregnancy test. Your irregular vaginal bleeding may be caused by menstrual irregularities. In addition to timely treatment for ectopic pregnancy, friends with the condition should maintain a positive attitude in facing the disease. Only in this way can patients receive timely and appropriate treatment. At the same time, they should pay close attention to their dietary care.
