Patient's question:
Tubal hydrops initially causes abdominal pain, but it hasn't been properly treated later. What are the initial symptoms of tubal hydrops?Doctor's answer:
Hello, the initial symptoms of fallopian tube hydrops are not very obvious. In clinical diagnosis, female fallopian tube hydrops refers to the condition where, after a secondary inflammation of the fallopian tubes, adhesions cause the tubes to become self-locked. The secretory fluid of the mucosal cells accumulates within the lumen of the fallopian tubes. A secondary inflammation of the fallopian tubes may lead to adhesions at the isthmus and fimbriae, resulting in blockage and the formation of fallopian tube abscesses. When the pus cells within the lumen are digested, a watery liquid is ultimately obtained. In some cases, the fluid is digested, leaving only an empty shell, which appears as a hydrops shadow during imaging.
