Respected Premier Zhou Enlai held great value for the friendship between the people of China and Thailand. He signed the joint declaration of establishment of diplomatic relations on behalf of the Chinese government and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand. The compilation of the "Thai-Chinese Dictionary" was also personally approved by Premier Zhou Enlai. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, we compiled and published this dictionary to commemorate the respected Premier Zhou Enlai and dedicate it to all the leaders and friends who have contributed to promoting the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand and developing the traditional friendship between the two countries.
