Patient's question:
What is a cervical cyst? What are the causes of a cervical cyst? How should this condition be addressed? What steps do I need to take next to restore my health?Doctor's answer:
Cervical cysts are similar to cervical erosion and cervical polyps, as they are manifestations of chronic cervicitis. Treatment:1. For scattered and small cervical glandular cysts, treatment is generally not required; annual careful examinations are sufficient.
2. For dense and small Nabothian cysts or larger cysts, phototherapy, laser, microwave, or cryosurgery may be considered as physical treatments.
3. For larger cysts that are weakly attached to the surface of the cervix, electrocautery excision may be considered.
All of the above treatment methods are relatively painless and have little impact on daily work and life.
