Can a small amount of bleeding ten days after childbirth still be resolved?

Patient's question:

After ten days of the crowd, there was a very small amount of peeling, and it was stopped for four days. On the fifth day, there was peeling again, and the amount seemed to be more than when the period came, containing blood clots. The ultrasound result showed an retroverted uterus after transvaginal examination. The size of the uterine body is approximately: longitudinal diameter 48MM, anteroposterior diameter 34MM, transverse diameter 47MM. The uterine wall echo is still relatively uniform, the endometrial thickness is about 5MM, the echo is uneven in strength, and there is no adhesion in the uterine cavity. Both ovaries can be seen. What kind of help is needed: Is this result normal, is it clean, how is the complete recovery of the uterus? I expect a detailed explanation.

Doctor's answer:

After ten days of bleeding, there may be only a small amount of peeling, which could be due to incomplete bleeding. Oral abortion pills should not be taken for more than 48 days. I don't know how many days you took them, but the amount of bleeding after ten days is still more than during your menstrual period, indicating that it hasn't been completely cleaned. The uterus has also not fully recovered. I suggest you have a local anesthesia with progesterone to help the uterus fully recover. If the bleeding is still heavy, a D&C (dilation and curettage) can be performed to fully treat the condition. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
