Features: Fusang, a Chinese woman in the 1860s; Chris, a white boy of the same era. They meet and fall in love in San Francisco, America. Because Fusang is a 20-year-old Chinese prostitute and Chris is a wealthy white boy, their love is not only tragic but also becomes a challenge to fate. From being sold into prostitution, to being gang-raped, to being separated from her husband, all these seem unable to leave a scar on Fusang's heart. She calmly follows her instincts, walking through one disaster after another with her three-inch golden lotus feet.
