Patient's question:
I passed away on October 20th. My period has not arrived by December 20th. On the 26th, I took birth control pills. On the 27th, brown discharge reappeared again. On November 4th, I went to the hospital for a thorough examination and was told I was pregnant. The ultrasound showed no gestational sac. On November 5th, my period started, with red and white meat-like discharge. On November 6th, I received treatment and the results of the natural miscarriage test and examination were: On November 4th, the pre-abortion HCG test result was 123.67, progesterone 2.03, and the ultrasound doctor said there was nothing. On November 5th, white blood cells were discharged. On November 6th, I tested HCG, which was 77.37, and progesterone was 0.9. The ultrasound results were normal. On November 9th, I tested HCG, which increased to 82. A right corpus luteum cyst reappeared. There was 7mm of blood accumulation in the pelvis.History of Treatment and Effects: On December 6th, I went for a thorough examination.
Doctor's answer:
Normal corpus luteum is a cystic structure, which can make the ovary slightly smaller. If the cystic corpus luteum persists to have or increase, or the corpus luteum hematoma contains a large amount of blood, and the blood is absorbed, it can lead to corpus luteum cyst. Due to the cyst persistently secreting progesterone, it often causes the menstrual cycle to be delayed.Advice: Use antibiotics to prevent and treat infection. Once it occurs again, cyst rupture or pedicle inversion should be resolved urgently. Wish you health.
