Can initial fungal vaginitis be treated with Jie'eryin?

Patient's question:

I might be experiencing early candidal vulvovaginitis, with a cheese-like discharge but not in large amounts. Can Jieryin cure me?

Doctor's answer:

Hello: It can be used! Treatment for candidal vaginitis can be either purely Western medicine or a combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Clotrimazole suppositories, one suppository per night, are inserted into the vagina after washing, with 10-14 days constituting one course of treatment; or miconazole nitrate suppositories, one suppository per night, are applied to the vagina after washing, with 7 days constituting one course of treatment. Using clotrimazole cream or miconazole nitrate cream for external application can treat vulvitis caused by fungal infection, reducing symptoms of vulvar itching and pain. Apply externally several times a day and use for 2 weeks.
