Recurring mold and cervical erosion, what should I do?

Patient's question:

Patient Gender: Female
Patient Age: 26
Candida keeps recurring, and this time it was found that cervical erosion has developed. The doctor still prescribed one tablet of fluconazole and Clotrimazole for me, saying to treat the candidiasis first. However, during medication, I forgot to take it one day, and it recurred again. What should I do?

Doctor's answer:

Wash the external genitalia or soak in a 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, and apply 2% gentian violet locally. In recent years, nystatin has shown significant effectiveness. Usage: Insert 100,000 U vaginal suppository twice daily (morning and evening) for 5 days. Wash the external genitalia and apply nystatin ointment (10,000 U/g) 2–3 times per day. To promote vaginal epithelial regeneration after treatment, a very small amount of estrogen (e.g., diethylstilbestrol 0.25–0.5 mg/day for 3–5 days) may be used. In cases of recurrence, consider gastrointestinal colonization and add oral nystatin 500,000 U per dose, four times daily. Currently, no resistant strains of Candida albicans have been found to nystatin.
