Features: The Reggio Emilia early childhood education system in Italy is an innovative achievement in the field of education, attracting attention from educators and early childhood professionals worldwide. Artistic teaching is a pioneering aspect of the Reggio Emilia approach. The Reggio philosophy, "It's not about Art!", emphasizes that the purpose of art education is not technical training but rather encouraging children to use art as a medium to observe life, reinforce experiences, and explore the world, enabling them to fully express and communicate. When conceptualizing the collaborative picture book "Duri and Sari," the project brought together creative young writers, painters, and educational researchers, as well as talented composers, to complete the creation. The Early Childhood Education Consulting Center of Aibei has used this series of collaborative picture books as material for artistic teaching, launching an "Nurturing Future Designers" course in some kindergartens in Shanghai. This is the first teaching collaboration between art and education, which will expand the interactive space between children and adults, as well as between children and their environment, in the field of early childhood education. It aims to cultivate children's social "big self" perspective, promote exploratory learning, and help them grow alongside the development of modern cities. "It's not about Art!" This is the educational philosophy and purpose behind our creative and editorial approach to this series of books.
