Features: This book is a calligraphy practice book with multiple script comparisons, designed for beginners to study and practice calligraphy. The 2,000 commonly used characters included in the book were selected from the 1,500 commonly used character list published by the Ministry of Education of the Central People's Government in 1952, as well as frequently used single characters from newspapers, magazines, and other sources. Due to the limited number of characters, some commonly used characters will be included in the sequel, and this work is currently in progress and will be published in the near future. This book includes scripts such as regular script, clerical script, running script, cursive script, and seal script. To facilitate an understanding of the differences between traditional and simplified characters, a small regular script column for traditional characters is provided for reference. The single characters selected in this book are arranged according to the number of strokes: those with fewer strokes come first, and those with more strokes come later. Characters with the same number of strokes are arranged in order of stroke sequence.
