Patient's question:
I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please explain how ovarian infertility occurs?Doctor's answer:
Ovulatory infertility caused by ovarian inflammation is known as ovarian infertility, which is one of the common causes of female infertility. Approximately 15%-20% of infertile women have ovulatory dysfunction, which is often accompanied by clinical diagnoses such as menstrual disorders, anovulation, or luteal phase defect with unruptured follicular luteinization syndrome. Treatment is categorized based on symptoms:(1) Congenital abnormalities: Including gonadal dysgenesis (Turner syndrome), 47,XXX syndrome, true hermaphroditism, and testicular feminization. These conditions are not within the scope of infertility treatment.
(2) Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS): The first-line treatment should be clomiphene, followed by ovarian wedge resection, ovarian incision, and cyst puncture, which can also yield good results.
