Features: Li Rui Zhao, born in Xi'an in 1960, is a member of the China Artists Association and the Shaanxi Calligraphers Association. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in 1981 and furthered his studies in the Advanced Oil Painting Class of the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts. He is currently the Director of the Editorial Department of the Shaanxi People's Fine Arts Publishing House. In 1995, he went to New York, USA, for artistic research and creation. His main works have been selected for the 6th and 8th National Fine Arts Exhibitions, the 2nd National Youth Fine Arts Exhibition, and the Fine Arts Exhibition of Artists in the Fine Arts Publishing Industry of China. In addition, many of his works have participated in other types of fine arts exhibitions and have been published and collected. His painting subjects are diverse, particularly in figures, landscapes, and still lifes. His works are solidly grounded, skillfully executed, and dedicated to exploring the artistic style that blends Eastern sentiment with Western colors. In recent years, he has created numerous still lifes featuring vases with flowers and landscapes featuring villas. The vase flower still lifes are misty and ethereal, with an ancient and elegant charm, while the villa landscape paintings are rich in color and have a profound and distant artistic conception, forming a unique painting style. Additionally, he has published works such as "Li Rui Zhao Oil Painting Collection" and "Li Rui Zhao Calligraphy Collection," among others.
