How should uterine hypertrophy be treated?

Patient's question:

Got married last year, recently I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me how to treat uterine hypertrophy?

Doctor's answer:

Hello, the causes of cervical hypertrophy are: Due to long-term stimulation from chronic inflammation, the cervical tissue undergoes repeated congestion and edema, leading to fibrosis of the cervical glands and stroma. The glandular ducts are pushed by surrounding fibrotic tissue, making it difficult for the mucus produced by the glands to be expelled, resulting in retention cysts. Superficial glandular cysts tend to bulge towards the surface of the cervix, making them easily observable. However, deep glandular cysts often cause the cervix to become thickened and enlarged to varying degrees, which is generally referred to as cervical hypertrophy. Deep glandular cysts are difficult to detect with the naked eye but can be identified during ultrasound examination as varying-sized circular hypoechoic areas in the cervical muscular wall. Due to damage or inflammation, the surface of the hypertrophied cervix may also exhibit squamous epithelial shedding and columnar epithelial fibrosis, leading to disorganization.
