Features: This personal history emerges and is revealed through Hainan's delicate, (sensitive) words and the images that record her emotions. From 1962 to 2003, it is the time of Hainan's birth, growth, and maturation—both physically and spiritually. The author herself would rather call these days a life of wandering along the images of her soul. At the end, about this poetic life journey, the author writes: "I (accidentally) came into the world, accidentally wrote poetry and novels, which is a sorrowful thing, because many things must be solved and carried by me alone. This is the fate of fate, just like discovering a flower in a vase, discovering leaves budding in a lightning strike, and discovering my shadow moving forward in the (accidental). Hainan, a 'female poet writing in self-imagined ways,' a distinctive female writer, uses words and images, in any possible way, to get close to her own life and recreate the history of her soul's wandering. 'All experiences are a tangled mess of suffering. In recent years, I have often struggled with boundless chaos.' From 1962 to 2003, the life history of a female writer is also the life history of a woman—this is Hainan's My Secret Flower. Throughout her life journey, she deciphers the life code of women, always maintaining a passion and anticipation for her spiritual life. Family, close friends, passersby, travels, seclusion, writing—revealing the mysteries between men and women. The words are extremely beautiful, and the annalistic text is paired with photos of plateau style. The essay is the most capable genre to showcase the beauty of words. Words can be steel or cotton, and this book has something worth anticipating."
