Features: This series of "Happy Reading in English for Middle School Students" consists of 15 units per volume. We have titled them "Week 1," "Week 2," to "Week 15," with the intention of aligning them with the relatively free weeks students have outside of exam periods in school, allowing for relaxed reading. Therefore, the use of this series is designed to be effortless. Each unit in the series is also designed to be light-hearted. This is reflected in two aspects. Each unit includes six parts: "Relaxed Reading," "Attempt to Understand," "Humorous Appreciation," "Vocabulary Memorization," "Encouraging Words," and "Reference Answers." "Relaxed Reading" aims to help students learn and master an idiom through reading short stories. "Attempt to Understand" features a wide range of articles, each accompanied by multiple-choice questions targeting the main theme, vocabulary, and key points of the text. "Humorous Appreciation" requires simple answers in a light-hearted manner. "Vocabulary Memorization" asks students to choose the best option to reinforce learned words. "Encouraging Words" consists of positive quotes or sayings. "Reference Answers" are provided for self-checking. As can be seen from the titles, the reading materials we selected are highly engaging, making the reading process enjoyable. Additionally, we have carefully controlled the length and difficulty of the reading materials, and each volume includes a gradual progression in difficulty. We have also given thorough consideration to the transitions between units. Even the design and arrangement of exercises and options have been meticulously planned to help students effortlessly enter a learning environment. Therefore, the learning environment of this series is designed to be relaxed.
