Features: One aspect of ecotourism introduced in this book is the involvement of the industry. The book also covers government participation, the interests of indigenous peoples, cooperation and training, tourism demand, institutional differences between developed and developing countries, policies and regulations, ethics, and responsibility related to ecotourism. Second, the book introduces a large amount of literature on ecotourism. There are many academic and non-academic books on ecotourism, and most of them were published in the past seven or eight years. As an introductory book, it touches upon books and literature related to various aspects of ecotourism. Finally, among the various literature and books, there are very few articles that help students understand the topic of ecotourism. Many of the books and materials cited in this book belong to the fields of tourism and entertainment rather than ecotourism research. The author intentionally cites them this way because the findings of tourism research are very valuable for ecotourism researchers. As an independent discipline, ecotourism is still in its early stages, and there are many "unknown" areas that need to draw on academic achievements from tourism and other disciplines.
