Doctor's answer:

Hydrosalpinx is a relatively common type of chronic tubal inflammation. After tubal inflammation, or due to adhesion locking, the secretory fluid of the mucosal cells accumulates in the lumen. Alternatively, recurrent tubal inflammation may lead to adhesion at the isthmus and fimbriae, causing blockage and forming tubal abscess. In some cases, the fluid may be purified, leaving an empty shell, which appears as a hydrosalpinx shadow during imaging. Hydrosalpinx is harmful to embryos, and timely treatment is necessary upon detection. There are several methods for treating infertility and subfertility. Depending on individual physical conditions and different conditions, different treatment plans may be adopted. Blindly implementing treatment not only fails to cure the condition but may even worsen its progression.
