Features: This book records the clinical insights of the author over six decades of practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine. It includes both successful experiences and lessons from failures. There are instances where clinical cases remained unresolved until inspiration was gained from reading, and also moments where incomplete understanding of texts led to sudden enlightenment during clinical practice. The deeper aspects draw from the classics, histories, commentaries, and collections, verified through clinical practice, such as the use of Wuyan Dan to treat tumors, originally derived from The Rites of Zhou. The more practical aspects focus on the efficacy of secret, empirical, and single formulas, such as the use of Probenecid to eliminate lice, which originates from folk wisdom. The original manuscript was a year-by-year personal record by the author, later compiled by the author's daughter. The sections primarily focused on conversations were titled "Random Talks After Examinations," while those centered on cases were titled "Treatment for Specific Diseases." Additionally, several representative papers published by the author in national medical journals were selected as "Random Talks After Examinations" to reflect the author's unique insights on certain issues of Traditional Chinese Medicine. At the end, an appendix titled "Explanatory Notes on the Preface of Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases" is included, an unfinished work by the author who intended to annotate Treatise on Cold Damage but had to stop due to age-related cataracts.
