Features: In 1989, after the publication of the book "Jiang Feng's Huqin Performance Art," many huqin players, huqin enthusiasts, and theorists of ethnic music expressed congratulations in phone calls or letters. At the same time, they regretted that the repertoire included in the book was not comprehensive enough. They worried that the four pieces not included in the "Eight Huqin Pieces by Jiang Feng," published by the People's Music Publishing House in 1958, might be lost forever. The performance audio materials left by my father were indeed more than just those included in the book "Jiang Feng's Huqin Performance Art." When planning to edit this book, it was 1978, and although that "movement" had become history, it left lingering fears in people's hearts. Moreover, whenever encountering anything "ancient," there was a fear of it being recorded in writing and leaving more grounds for criticism in the future. Therefore, with great reluctance, they were not selected for inclusion. The pieces such as "Autumn Moon in the Han Palace," "Fragrant Breeze," "Happy Flower," and "Three Treasure Buddha" in this book were taught to my father personally by Mr. Liu Tianhua during his student years. However, through years of performance and teaching practice, my father has re-created these pieces artistically.
