Features: What situations don't require worry? What situations are urgent? How should you respond? This book explains some common knowledge that mothers should know, including the symptoms and progression of illnesses, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods. Even after visiting a doctor, it's inevitable that some things remain unclear or questions are forgotten during the brief consultation time. This book addresses the doubts of mothers like these. For over thirty years, as a pediatrician, I have treated many children. During that time, many young mothers who brought their children to me often told me, "I was also treated by you when I was a child." Over these thirty years, the content of pediatric medicine has undergone significant changes, and so has my own perspective. In the clinic, each patient's consultation time is limited, so explanations about the condition and symptoms cannot be very detailed. Therefore, I tried to organize and compile the information I usually wanted to explain in a concise and easy-to-understand way so that mothers could refer to it. This book is organized around various disease names or the main symptoms of children brought to the emergency room, divided into 19 items. It explains the symptoms, progression, emergency home care measures, and caregiving methods that mothers should know. Even after visiting a doctor, it's inevitable that some things remain unclear or questions are forgotten during the brief consultation time. This book addresses the doubts of mothers like these. However, because symptoms vary from person to person, the treatment methods also differ. The knowledge in this book cannot be followed literally. Based on my over thirty years of clinical experience, I hope to help you understand the causes of the illness and clarify why such treatment is necessary, which will be more appropriate. If after reading this book, your long-standing doubts are somewhat resolved, and it helps you in some way when your child is sick, so that you are not overwhelmed or panicked, then as the author, I would be very pleased to see that.
