This series is compiled by the Editorial Department of Primary and Secondary School Subject Olympiads and is a research outcome of Beijing Step-by-Step Quality Education Research Institute. Since its publication by the Olympic Press, it has stood out uniquely and is deeply loved by teachers, parents, and students. After significant revisions, re-editions, or complete rewrites, it has been renamed as "Golden Medal Olympiads" and "Golden Medal Schools," and is now re-published and distributed by Jinghua Publishing House. On this occasion of the re-publication, sincere gratitude is extended to millions of readers across the country. Primary and Secondary School Subject Olympiads (abbreviated as Subject Olympiads) are the most extensive, widely participated, and influential subject competition activities for primary and secondary school students in China. Subject Olympiads are derived from and extended from the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), the International Physics Olympiad (IPHO), the International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO), and other internationally influential middle school subject competitions that attract millions of young students every year. The reason for such widespread attention lies in the strong innovation, flexibility, and comprehensiveness of Olympiads, as well as their focus on cultivating students' exploration skills and inspiring their innovative awareness—qualities that are precisely at the core of quality education. This is also the need for future development. Based on years of in-depth research on this activity and a large number of outstanding books in this category, the Editorial Department of Primary and Secondary School Subject Olympiads has invited outstanding educators dedicated to this field from all over the country to compile and publish a series of books on mathematics, Chinese, English, physics, chemistry, biology, and information technology, totaling over 200 varieties. In terms of the variety, quantity, and quality of our Olympiad books, they are considered the most influential in their field both domestically and internationally, and are the most appealing to primary and secondary school teachers and students. The purpose and characteristics of the "Golden Medal Olympiads" and "Golden Medal Schools" series are as follows:
