What are the hazards of increased leukorrhea?

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I'm also extremely sensitive to cold and coldness. Could you please tell me what the harms of increased leukorrhea are?

Doctor's answer:

Common causes of increased vaginal discharge include:
① During candidiasis (yeast infection), the discharge may be yellow or white, mostly viscous, sometimes thin. The typical discharge resembles cottage cheese or curd-like clumps.
② In trichomoniasis, the discharge is thin and purulent, yellow, foamy, or like dirty water (grayish-white), with a foul odor.
③ With cervical erosion, the discharge is usually yellow, viscous like mucus, and generally odorless.
④ In gonorrhea, the discharge is yellow and purulent.
⑤ During endometritis or other pelvic inflammatory diseases, the discharge increases continuously, becomes yellow and thin, often accompanied by abdominal pain.
⑥ With fallopian tube cancer, the discharge increases due to tumor-induced fluid leakage from the fallopian tube epithelium and necrosis of inflammatory tissues.
