Features: Many people want to try designing their own gardens firsthand, but when it comes to garden design without any prior knowledge, it can seem quite complex and mysterious. In this book, I hope to unveil the mystery of garden design and show people how to realize their dreams. First, the chapter "Garden Design Theory" tells you how to start—consider what you want to gain from your garden, and then explains garden design theory—how to form garden structures, how to use different elements and variously shaped zones to create atmosphere, style, dynamics, and statics. Second, the chapter "Garden Design Plans" provides many different garden design examples, inspiring ideas and offering practical help. Each example in the chapter provides a detailed explanation and description of the main plan, accompanied by perspective drawings that show the three-dimensional effect of the floor plan. There are different ways to use this chapter. One method is to choose a garden design plan that is most similar to your own garden terrain. However, if you want to gain more benefits from the listed design plans, it is best to read the text descriptions first. The chapter "Garden Design Methods" focuses on all practical functions and guides you step by step on how to design. Starting with measuring the site and accurately drawing the site floor plan, it then analyzes the site, conducting functional analysis of the elements that may need to be arranged, until a preliminary design sketch is drawn. The design is then further refined, adding plants and artificial structures such as walls, fences, paths, and steps. Finally, it proceeds in the correct order to implement the construction, turning the design into reality. The final chapter is "Garden Plant Arrangement," which helps you choose the most suitable plants and determines how to apply them. This chapter also provides a series of plants that can adapt to special site conditions and explains how to plant them to achieve the best color effects. As a professional designer, the greatest satisfaction is to start designing a garden. But I hope that more people can design their own gardens firsthand, able to see the garden develop and grow day by day according to their own designs, becoming a three-dimensional, ever-changing, vibrant artwork, and deriving immense enjoyment from it.
