Features: "DRAGONBALL" is translated as "Dragon Ball" (also known as "Dragon Ball Z"). It is the masterpiece of the renowned Japanese manga artist Akira Toriyama. It made its debut in 1984 and was followed by a sequel titled "Dragon Ball" in 1992. This long-running series was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Jump" for seven years. The story follows the adventures of Goku (of course, not the Monkey King from our mythical tales) and his father, along with the seven Dragon Balls that can grant wishes. It takes readers from a rural village to the city, from Earth to outer space, and from the present to the future. Based on the Dragon Ball manga, a series of animated adaptations were produced, both TV and movie versions, attracting countless fans and sparking waves of "Dragon Ball" fever.
Long, long ago, in a deep mountain, there lived a strong and kind-hearted boy named Goku. One day, he met Bulma, who was searching for the Dragon Balls. The Dragon Balls are magical gems that, when gathered in sets of seven, summon a divine dragon that can grant one wish. With the help of a Dragon Radar, the two embarked on a journey to find the balls. Along the way, they encountered all sorts of strange people and events, and the dragon left behind only a pair of shorts before flying away again—details can be found in the first two volumes. After bidding farewell to his companions, Goku traveled alone to the masterful martial artist Master Roshi to become his apprentice.
