Features: John Clark, a former member of the SEALs. An agent of the Miller Bureau, he possesses many of the same admirable qualities as Jack Ryan, but also shares the paranoia common among humans in the late 1990s: he firmly believes that violence can solve everything and considers force the best way to deter terrorism. Thus, Clark organizes a team of special forces from various countries—codenamed Iris—dedicated to eliminating all terrorist activities by force. Just as the Iris unit is being formed, a series of terrorist attacks occur one after another around the world. Although these events seem independent, the timing of their occurrence catches Clark's attention. Especially after the Soviet authorities begin investigating the Iris unit, Clark becomes suspicious that these terrorist actions may be connected to the Soviet Union. However, as the Iris unit faces off against terrorists, a greater crisis is steadily approaching, and if it erupts, it will push humanity toward the path of destruction.
