Features: This collection of English cases in international law was compiled to promote English teaching in international law. International law originated early in Europe, and English and French have always been important, even indispensable, tools for studying international law. Reading English cases is of great help in understanding international law and applying it in practice. The cases selected for this book are highly diverse. They are basically arranged in the order of chapters in an International Law textbook to complement the teaching content. However, the drawback of this arrangement is that the editor had to rigidly classify cases under specific topics. Although the editor adopted this arrangement, it does not mean that any case is limited to or primarily concerned with only one international law issue. On the contrary, almost every case involves multiple international law issues; sometimes multiple cases address the same international law issue. The author has strived to preserve the original style of the case judgments or awards, and readers can observe the differences and writing styles of judgments or awards from different institutions.
