How to treat endometritis

Patient's question:

I got married last year. Recently, I've been experiencing lower abdominal pain, especially during my period. I'm very worried about it affecting my fertility, and I also feel extremely cold and afraid of the cold. How should I treat endometritis?

Doctor's answer:

1. Increased leukorrhea: Leukorrhea is the most obvious manifestation of gynecological diseases in women. Due to the enhanced secretion of endometrial glands in the female body, it will affect leukorrhea, leading to symptoms such as thin, watery, and pale yellow discharge reappearing.
2. Symptoms of excessive menstrual bleeding: After the recurrence of endometritis, some women may not realize it, as their menstrual cycles remain regular during this period. However, the volume of menstrual blood increases, and the bleeding period is significantly prolonged.
3. Symptoms of dysmenorrhea: In women with endometritis, this condition is more likely to occur in those who have not yet experienced menarche. It may be caused by excessive endometrial thickening, which hinders normal tissue regression and suppuration, leading to excessive uterine spasmodic contractions. However, severe dysmenorrhea is rare.
