Patient's question:
I have had tubal hydrops for more than a year, and I just want to know what the hazards of tubal hydrops are. Recently, I've always felt severe lower abdominal pain and backache, and my private area has been very uncomfortable, itchy, and burning, especially in the afternoon, it's really unbearable.Doctor's answer:
Hydrocele in fallopian tubes can lead to the retention of fluid flowing into the uterine cavity, which can mechanically affect the contact between the embryo and the endometrium. Due to the presence of microorganisms, debris, and toxic substances in fallopian tube hydrocele, the tissue releases cytokines, prostaglandins, white blood cell chemotactic factors, and other inflammatory complexes, which directly or indirectly act on the endometrium through blood and lymphatic vessels, interfering with embryo implantation. Since fallopian tube hydrocele is often caused by infection and is mostly downward infection, the hydrocele can cause endometrial damage, leaving a permanent interference with the embryo's implantation receptivity. If the amount of hydrocele in the fallopian tubes is relatively small, conservative treatment can be performed.
