Technological practice is the most basic practical activity that sustains and develops human society and is the foundation of socio-economic activities. Culture and tradition, organization and coordination, purpose and interest, means and methods, resources and environment constitute the basic conditions of technological practice. Technological revolution refers to the great transformation of human technology for modifying nature, which is the replacement process of dominant technology in different historical periods and the dominant technology clusters centered around it. The three technological revolutions in modern times are the emergence of steam power technology, electric technology, and electronic computer technology as dominant technologies, as well as the replacement process of dominant technology clusters that play a leading role in each period's technological system.
