Author: Wu Yongyi
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-01-01
Features: This biography reflects the main contributions of Comrade Lu Ji to the Chinese People's Democratic Revolution, the construction of China's socialist musical career, and the development of the musical culture of the Chinese nation. Comrade Lu Ji reviewed the preliminary draft of The People's Musician Lu Ji before his passing. After Comrade Lu Ji's death, the author made necessary supplements based on newly acquired materials. The author intended to reflect the main contributions of Comrade Lu Ji through this biography, but due to limitations in ability, omissions are inevitable. It is hoped that comrades and readers familiar with Comrade Lu Ji's life will provide corrections. Thank you, Lu Yingliang, for including the Chronology of Lu Ji and other appendices such as the bibliography of Lu Ji's papers and works in this book. These five appendices not only provide readers with rich materials about Comrade Lu Ji's life but also compensate for the shortcomings of the biography in narrating his life story. All the images in this book were provided by Comrade Lu Ji's children.
