What tests are needed for a missed miscarriage?

Patient's question:

Hello doctor, I have a history of miscarriage. I would like to know what tests are needed for miscarriage.

Doctor's answer:

If you have had a history of miscarriage, the following tests are recommended before conceiving again:
1. Male sperm motility and morphology tests;
2. Female preconception health screening (four or six items);
3. Autoimmune panel (including anti-sperm antibodies, anti-endometrial antibodies, anti-human chorionic gonadotropin antibodies, and anti-cardiolipin antibodies);
4. Cervical discharge routine screening for trichomoniasis, candidiasis, mycoplasma, chlamydia infections, vaginal inflammation, etc.;
5. Ultrasound follicle monitoring;
6. ABO hemolysis and Rh blood group antigen system tests (subjects: women with blood type O, husbands with blood type A or B, or those with unexplained miscarriage history).
