What are the early signs of endometrial cancer?

Patient's question:

It was truly a bolt from the blue. A while ago, I wasn't feeling well, so I went to the hospital for a check-up. The report came back confirming that it was ovarian cancer. Being diagnosed with such a malignant disease really made me feel very sad. I would like to ask: Could menopausal skin peeling be a sign of endometrial cancer?

Doctor's answer:

In the normal menstrual cycle of a woman, days 12-14 are the days of menopause. At this time, due to the rupture of the follicle, the fluctuation of estrogen causes changes in vascular permeability, leading to the leakage of red blood cells from the blood vessels, which triggers a small amount of vaginal bleeding. This is known as ovulatory bleeding. To determine if it is ovulatory bleeding, basal body temperature can be measured, and the relationship between bleeding and temperature should be carefully observed. This is to avoid mistaking it for ovulatory bleeding and overlooking the early diagnosis of other diseases. Ovulatory bleeding is usually light in amount and short in duration, and does not require treatment. If the bleeding is heavier, hemostatic medication can be taken to control the bleeding.
