Features: This exercise book is compiled based on the research achievements of the "Research on the Reform and Construction of the Teaching Content System for Mechanical Basic Courses in New Century Higher Vocational and Technical Education" project funded by the Ministry of Education. It is designed to be used alongside the accompanying textbook "Modern Mechanical Drawing" edited by Lü Suxia. The order of the exercises in this book aligns with the corresponding textbook, with moderate quantities and difficulty levels of questions, offering a reasonable range of choices. The exercises in this book can generally be completed directly on the original questions, while some require the use of specified drawing papers. During the compilation, the following aspects were primarily considered:
1. Focusing on cultivating students' spatial imagination and innovative abilities, with question selection emphasizing practicality and gradual difficulty.
2. Strengthening the practice of isometric drawing techniques, with diversified question examples. This section should involve drawing more models and practicing freehand sketching, so the number of exercises in this book is not overly extensive.
3. Increasing freehand drawing exercises to save time and emphasize the development of students' drawing and reading comprehension skills.
4. Fully adopting the newly promulgated "Technical Drawing" and "Mechanical Drawing" national standards of China, as well as other relevant drawing standards.
