What causes cervical cysts?

Patient's question:

I am really suffering. It has been two years since I gave birth, but my uterus has been inflamed all the time. This condition has been troubling me for a long time, and the treatment has not shown any significant effect. Please ask: What causes cervical cysts?

Doctor's answer:

Cervical cysts are similar to cervical erosion and cervical polyps, as they are one of the manifestations of chronic cervical inflammation. Treatment:
1. For scattered and small cervical glandular cysts, treatment is generally not required, and annual careful examinations are sufficient.
2. For dense and small Nabothian cysts or larger cysts, phototherapy, laser, microwave, or cryotherapy may be considered as physical treatments.
3. For larger cysts that are weakly attached to the surface of the cervix, electrocautery excision can be considered.
All of the above treatment methods cause minimal pain and have little impact on daily work and life.
Cervical cysts can affect menstruation, causing changes such as irregular periods. The reasons are varied, generally including abnormal emotions, endocrine disorders, cold stimulation, medication effects, uterine diseases, dietary restrictions, smoking and alcohol consumption, environmental changes, overexertion, and excessive mental stress, among others.
