Patient's question:
Hydrosalpinx has been present for many years, and treatment has been ongoing. Now that I'm getting older, I really hope to have my own child soon, so I'm quite anxious. Could you please advise on what to eat for hydrosalpinx?Doctor's answer:
Hello,1. Chronic tubo-ovarian inflammation: When chronic tubo-ovarian inflammation recurs, the fimbriae of the fallopian tube can become due to inflammation, and the effluent and exudate in the tubal lumen gradually accumulate to form hydrosalpinx. Some hydrosalpinx may also evolve from tubal abscess. The pus cells and purulent tissue in the lumen are compressed and then completely cleared by phagocytes, gradually transforming the pus into clear, watery fluid. Some hydrosalpinx may not be caused by tubal inflammation but rather result from secondary complications after tubal abortion.
2. Fimbrial self-locking: Complete self-locking of the fimbriae can lead to tubal obstruction, thereby interfering with conception. Even incomplete self-locking can damage the fallopian tube mucosa due to hydrosalpinx. Severe hydrosalpinx may even completely impair the normal function of the fallopian tube, causing it to revert, leading to hemorrhagic infarction.
