What should patients with fallopian tube blockage eat more?

Patient's question:

Tubal blockage has been going on for many years, and treatment has been ongoing throughout this period. Now that I'm getting older, I really hope to have my own child as soon as possible, so I'm quite anxious. Could you please advise: What foods should tubal blockage patients eat more of?

Doctor's answer:

Tubal blockage is a common cause of infertility, accounting for one-third of infertile patients, and has shown a gradual increasing trend in recent years, making it a challenging issue in the treatment of infertility. Tubal blockage is primarily caused by inflammation spreading from the endometrium upwards, first leading to inflammatory changes in the tubal mucosa. This results in regressive or patchy shedding of the tubal epithelium, causing adhesion of the tubal mucosa, followed by self-locking of the tubal lumen or fimbriae.
Patients with tubal blockage should pay attention to their diet:
1. Fresh fruits and vegetables;
2. Meat;
3. Fresh milk;
4. Legumes.
Avoid spicy, cold, and other irritating foods, as these are very harmful to the condition and may even trigger gynecological inflammation such as vaginitis or pelvic inflammation, leading to worsening of the condition or frequent relapses.
