How is immune infertility treated with conventional therapy?

Patient's question:

I have been married for many years, and my husband and I have been actively trying to conceive, but we have never received any good news. We are very anxious. Could you please tell me how to treat immune infertility with conventional treatment?

Doctor's answer:

Immunological infertility refers to a condition where the patient has normal menopause and reproductive tract function, without any detected sepsis factors, and the semen analysis of direct relatives falls within the normal range, but there is evidence of anti-fertilization autoimmune immunity. It is caused by autoimmune or allogenic autoimmune reactions to reproductive system antigens. In recent years, experiments on autoimmune factors have shown that there are mainly two types of immunological infertility: anti-sperm and anti-oolemma immune infertility. Due to the limited research on the latter so far, clinical diagnosis of immunological infertility mostly refers to anti-sperm immune infertility. Modern medicine believes that the immune system is an extremely complex system, regulated by the nervous and endocrine systems, and in turn, it also adjusts the nervous and endocrine systems, forming a neuroendocrine-immune regulatory network.
