How is vulvar atrophy usually treated better?

Patient's question:

The skin of the external genitalia is very itchy, and there is a lot of leukorrhea. I went to a gynecology hospital for a leukorrhea test, and the doctor said I have mild atrophy of the external genitalia. Please ask how doctors usually treat atrophy of the external genitalia better.

Doctor's answer:

Vaginal atrophy is often caused by leukoplakia of the vulva, which is medically referred to as vulvar dystrophy. This condition is due to impaired microcirculation in the subcutaneous tissue of the vulva, endocrine disorders in decomposition metabolism, damage to the nutrient supply pathways of subcutaneous tissue, and obstruction in the nutritional supply to tissues, leading to disordered growth of skin tissues. The skin and mucosa of the vulvar area may then reappear with varying degrees of whitening, roughness, fibrosis, and swelling. In short, the fundamental cause of vulvar dystrophy is poor nourishment of the vulvar area.
