How to diagnose whether it is fallopian tube blockage?

Patient's question:

There have always been problems with my ovaries, and the test results are not good either. I am very worried but don't know how to deal with it well. How can I confirm if it is fallopian tube blockage?

Doctor's answer:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Examination for Tubal Blockage: MRI examination of the fallopian tubes includes two types: routine MRI examination and MRI-guided hydrotubation. Routine MRI can detect certain cases of tubal hydrosalpinx, which appear as enlarged fluid-filled dark areas on both sides of the uterus. However, MRI cannot definitively diagnose whether the condition is tubal hydrosalpinx or an ovarian cyst, so it can only suggest the possibility of hydrosalpinx.
2. Tubal Hydrotubation Examination for Tubal Blockage: This examination is also known as hydrotubation. During the procedure, a tube is inserted into the uterine cavity of the patient, and 20ml of anesthetic solution is administered through the tube. The solution is typically normal saline mixed with antibiotics (usually gentamicin). In addition to medication for gynecological conditions, patients should also pay attention to dietary aspects, such as eating a balanced diet and maintaining a positive mood.
