Features: In English learning, reading and writing are two very important components. Especially in recent years, the proportion of reading and writing has been increasing in various English-related exams. In response to this situation, we have developed this series of books, "English Reading and Writing Integrated Training," based on the national new curriculum standards. This series consists of six volumes, divided into Grades 7, 8, 9, Senior High School Year 1, Senior High School Year 2, and Senior High School Year 3. Each volume is designed with corresponding reading passages and writing exercises tailored to the knowledge points and reading difficulty of different grades, organically combining reading comprehension with written expression to reflect the close relationship and interconnection between reading and writing in English learning.
This series is based on reading to improve writing skills. It selects targeted reading materials and sets questions such as multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and sentence-making based on relevant knowledge points from the reading passages. This micro-level practice enhances vocabulary usage and tests grammar mastery. Building on this, it sets questions around word usage, sentence structures, and idiomatic expressions, establishing a bridge to introduce the "Writing Extension" section, ultimately aiming to improve readers' writing abilities.
Additionally, in the writing exercises, specific requirements are provided, such as expanding or summarizing reading materials, using certain words, phrases, or sentence structures, and practicing relevant writing styles based on the genre of the reading passage. Throughout this process, readers are encouraged to apply the knowledge gained from reading to their writing exercises and compare their work with the reading material to identify gaps. This approach helps readers accumulate experience while improving both their reading and writing skills.
