The report clearly proposes a modern information service industry classification framework that is practical for work, providing an overall description of the development status of Beijing's information service industry from three categories: information transmission services, IT information technology services, and information resource industries, and proposing development goals and strategies for Beijing's information service industry in the next step. In this report, the first "Survey Report of Beijing's Information Resource Industry" is also first published, based on research on the development status of emerging digital content industries such as internet publishing, online games, and digital libraries. It is reported that this is the first annual special report on the development of modern information service industry published by a local government in China.
