Features: Many students with relatively good performance in junior high school hope to be directly admitted to prestigious senior high schools for further studies to lay a solid foundation for future success. In recent years, key schools in the city have conducted some tests before the unified examination as a basis for admitting students for direct admission, thus giving rise to the "direct admission exam." Many junior high school graduates are eager for reference materials related to the English direct admission exam. To this end, we referred to the English direct admission exam papers independently set by several key municipal schools in the city in recent years, studied the junior high school English curriculum standards, and systematically organized content from various aspects such as vocabulary, grammar, and language proficiency. Based on this, we compiled fifteen mock exam papers for reference. The format of the papers is basically the same as that of the junior high school entrance exam papers, such as Exercises 1-5, which can help students familiarize themselves with the exam questions; however, there are also some expanded question types like Exercises 6-15, which can expand students' (exam-taking skills) and better adapt to new question types, preparing them thoroughly for the exam. Each set of papers is scored out of 120, and the listening section is accompanied by an audio cassette. The purpose of the direct admission exam is to select relatively outstanding students, so while this book closely aligns with the teaching materials and exam requirements, it also appropriately incorporates some content slightly above the general level but not overly demanding. In fact, for ordinary junior high school graduates, this book is also a very valuable resource for English review and preparation. We hope this book will help junior high school graduates get sufficient practice in English, consolidate their knowledge, improve their skills, and achieve good results in the English exam.
