Features: What is aging? Aging is the progressive decline in the body's intrinsic functions, original defense capabilities, and the ability to maintain and repair bodily functions to maintain effective operation. Is aging a disease? A simple answer: No, aging is not a disease. This is contrary to the understanding of many people, including some doctors and scientists. As people age, they may experience common conditions such as difficulty speaking, weakness that makes it hard to walk or even bedridden, severe loss of balance, inability to feed themselves and dependence on others, incontinence, and poor memory. Is this a disease? Of course not. What is youth? From the perspective of anti-aging medicine, youth can be understood as follows: It is not simply the absence of aging. Youth refers to the possession of some or all of the ideal characteristics of young people, such as: good health, well-developed muscles, an effective immune system, a healthy mind and agile thinking, hormones at their peak (peak levels).
Several concepts about longevity:
Rejuvenation: Means returning to youth.
Immortality: Means living forever. However, the meaning of "forever" can vary among different people. Some believe it means living to 200-300 years, while others think it should be 1000 years. Taken literally, "forever" implies no time limit.
Use of anti-aging medications or supplements: If you wish to use any of these medications or supplements, it should be done under the guidance of a doctor or relevant experts.
