Features: Wang Zhen is one of China's first young guitarists to study abroad in Spain. Starting in 1989, he held classical guitar recital tours in cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Hangzhou, receiving widespread acclaim. Multiple media outlets covered his performances in special reports. In 1994, he went to Spain to study at the Conservatorio Granollers de Barcelona and the renowned Liceu Higher Music College, learning from the famous Spanish guitarist and composer Professor Josep Henriquez and Professor Jaume Torrent, the Dean of the Liceu Music College. In 1995, he was invited to perform solo and ensemble classical guitar concerts at the Catalonian Music Festival in Spain. Local television stations and the Barcelona-based magazine "Valles" covered his performances and conducted interviews. In 1999, he was invited to participate in the "Young Stars" guitar concert at the 7th International Guitar Festival of the Canary Islands. In 1997, he earned the honor certificate of a classical guitarist from the Liceu Higher Music College and the graduation certificate from the Conservatorio Granollers Nacional de Barcelona with outstanding results, awarded by Queen Sofia of Spain. In 1998, shortly after returning to China, Wang Zhen was invited to participate in the first Beijing International Music Festival (Festival Internacional de Música de Beijing), collaborating with the renowned Spanish guitarist Professor Josep Henriquez and the young symphony orchestra to successfully present a specialized concert of classical guitar concertos titled "Concierto de Aranjuez." In recent years, his concert performances have been exceptionally frequent, in addition to solo recitals, he often holds ensemble and concerto concerts with violin, flute, and chamber orchestras.
