How to treat menopausal syndrome well

Patient's question:

I used to be a very calm person, but recently I can't control my temper and always argue with my family. I seem to find fault with everything. What's going on with me?
Question: How should one treat menopausal syndrome?

Doctor's answer:

Menopausal syndrome is a series of symptoms caused by the rise in estrogen levels. Due to the decline in ovarian function, the pituitary gland becomes tense and excretes excessive gonadotropins, leading to a disturbance in the vegetative nervous system, which in turn results in a series of varying symptoms such as menstrual changes, flushing, palpitations, neurasthenia, fatigue, depression, excessive worry, emotional instability, irritability, and difficulty concentrating. This is referred to as "menopausal syndrome." The majority of women experience a gradual decline in ovarian function.
